What next for Sasikala?Supreme Court has upheld Special Court verdict along with penalties in Disproportionate Assets case of Jayalalithaa, Sasikala, and others. Sasikala will be facing a Four years Jail Term and a 100 Crore Penality. This will restrain her from contesting elections in the next 10 years and may virtually finish her political career.

Sasikala has four weeks time to surrender. This four weeks are crucial in Sasikala’s Political Career if any. She has to be an acceptable dummy face who will lead her faction of MLAs so that he can be installed as a Dummy Chief Minister.

But that will mean only swimming against the tide. MLAs can not risk an early election supporting a Dummy Chief Minister who will also not have the support of the people. Such government will also be prone to attempts of derailment by Paneerselvam faction and DMK as well.
