We are just around two months away from the Elections in Andhra Pradesh. Speculations are that the Election Commission will release the schedule on 28th of this month. On the other side, Three MLAs of the Ruling Party have left the party while one MP is also likely. Chandrababu looks like relaxed man and is pursuing his National Agenda in Delhi.
The Million Dollar Question now is what is in Chandrababu’s mind. Despite these last minute Jumpings, Naidu looks calm and composed. But such defections just before the elections will only create Public Perception against the Ruling Party even though the leaving leaders are only those being denied tickets.
The State Government the other day downsized the Annadata Sukheebhava scheme which has disappointed the farmers after so much of media hype. Usually if an incumbent government sense defeat it will implement big schemes which will burden the coming government. Naidu playing it safe means he is confident of coming back to Power.
This is also the case with Pasupu Kunukuma for Dwacra Women. If at all Naidu sensed defeat and wants to trouble Jagan, he would have announced it as a recurring scheme and not as a one-time scheme as it is now. TDP cadre are currently in Two minds about what is happening in the state but as always they have rested all Hopes on their Supreme Leader.
