KCR-Modi-Chandra-Babu

The crucial election in Telangana is just 6 days away. This is the first time Telangana voter will be coming out to vote after the state bifurcation. Lot of things and calculations will be running in the minds of voters as they vote. The elections are being termed as Sentiment Vs Development. Telangana Rashtra Samiti which was started for fighting Telangana cause claims itself as the reason for the state bifurcation while Congress leaders boast of sacrificing their interests in Seema Andhra and went to grant the statehood.

The Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janta Party combine which was not in the fray until couple of days staged a big comeback with Chandra Babu Naidu’s announcement of R.Krishnaiah, the BC reservations crusader as the Chief Minister candidate in the region. BCs constitute for more than 40% of Telangana’s population and they seem to be excited with the proposal. Even if TDP-BJP combine manages to get 25 seats in the region, there is a distinct possibility of Telangana heading towards a hung Assembly!
