TDP Senior Leader from Kurnool, Shilpa Mohan Reddy finally announced that he is quitting TDP and will be joining YSR Congress later on today. Shilpa announced that he is disturbed by the fact that TDP high command is dillydallying about Nandhyala By-election.
The by-election is necessitated due to the sudden demise of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. However, there is a peculiar scenario here. Bhuma is a YSR Congress MLA shifted to TDP. His family members are expecting TDP ticket in the by-elections.
But then, Shilpa Mohan Reddy who contested here in 2014 and lost is seeking the same seat since Bhuma Akhila Priya is already given a cabinet berth. TDP high command conducted a survey to choose the candidate for the election.
But then, in the three surveys commissioned in the last couple of months, it was revealed that Shilpa and Bhuma family are good contenders but Bhuma family is a bit ahead due to the sympathy factor. As Shilpa is sure that, he is not going to get the ticket, he decided to sail to YSR Congress.
