Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have met for the first time since 2018 – the breakup year of TDP and BJP.
The Former Chief Minister is one of the invitees of the Azaadi Ka Amritotsav meeting chaired by the Prime Minister himself. Before the meeting, they have met at Sanskritika Mandir, Rashtrapathi Bhavan.
They spoke for 5 minutes and it is a casual chat. The Prime Minister asked about the well-being of Chandrababu’s family.
He also said, “You are not coming to Delhi these days. Try to come here more often. Feel at home. When you come here next time, inform my office”.
Chandrababu Naidu told him that he would meet him in his next visit to Delhi.
This conversation is reported by Eenadu and there are speculations if this is the first step for the patch up of TDP and BJP.
But at the face of it, it looks like a casual talk. Chandrababu Naidu also met Union Ministers – Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, and Rajnath Singh, Rajinikanth, Pullela Gopichand, and Others at this meeting.
