Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy toured the National Capital for two days. While the Government claims the tour aims at three capitals and Polavaram, the Opposition alleges that Jagan has gone to Delhi ahead of the trial of the Bail cancelation petition in the CBI court.
A section of YSR Congress-leaning media has reported that Jagan had agreed to Gautam Adani to Rajya Sabha from the Andhra Pradesh quota. Previously, Jagan has nominated Ambani’s close-aide, Parimal Nathwani to Rajya Sabha. Its been over one year since Nathwani is nominated to Rajya Sabha.
Back then, the ruling party boasted of Nathwani bringing massive investments to Andhra Pradesh but nothing of such sort happened. So, the investment plank is unlikely to be useful while nominating Adani to Rajya Sabha. The Opposition will start claiming YSR Congress Government as Ambani – Adani Government
The BJP government at the center is started sensing signs of anti-incumbency. A popular allegation is that Modi Government works only for Ambani and Adani. So, Modi and Shah are routing Adani to Rajya Sabha via YSR Congress. Also, there are discussions now about what YSR Congress gets in return from the BJP for this Rajya Sabha seat.
