Telugu States Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had pinned high hopes on the Union Budget released today. Telangana state has a disappointing budget with no remarkable allotments while Andhra Pradesh state has slightly better allocations but still will be disappointed as there is no announcement of special status and financial aid to cover the deficit budget. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley just made a formal mention that justice will be done to both the states after state division.
