Wedding-Industry-Hit-Badly-to-ZeroThese are the months when weddings would have been in full swing in India, across various states. Hit by COVID-19 pandemic, all the weddings that were to take place in the Telugu months of Chaitram and Viashakham stay cancelled in the Telugu States, as of now.

So, the wedding industry across the States in India was hit badly by the corona effect. Many wedding organisers and planners have to start fresh after the pandemic comes under control in the future.

Till then, there is no scope for gatherings and in India, weddings are grand affairs with at least a considerable gathering is expected, even for a wedding in a poor family. Weddings have been consuming the savings of a lifetime for many in India. Coming to the rich, people spend crores on high profile weddings.

In Rajasthan, weddings to happen in September and October 2020 along with those scheduled to happen in March, April and May 2020 were cancelled. This is a surprising thing as people are thinking too far, up to September and October.

So, one can imagine how bad would be the effect on the wedding industries and the dependent industry like catering services, floral outlets, boutiques etc.
