Who Is the Water Thief - Andhra Pradesh or TelanganaKrishna River Water Management Board has found the water levels in Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar Project less by about 6.1 TMCs than the expected levels. Both the projects have 129.96 TMCs of water on November 29th. Until 10th of this month, both the states have used 59.324 TMCs.

Andhra Pradesh informed the board that it has used 39.756 TMCs of water while Telangana has used 19.568 TMCs. After this consumption, both the reservoirs should have 70.636 TMCs of water in storage. But then there are only 64.530 TMCs available which means about 6.106 TMCs water is lost.
