GHMC had stopped water supply to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s residence in Hyderabad. This comes a day after OU JAC complaint to remove water and power supply to AP CM and Ministers over their objections to Telangana Projects. Officials however say the supply is stopped since Naidu is not residing there.
Water supply to the construction of Naidu’s new house is also stopped and Bore water is being used. Earlier Water Board used to supply daily three tankers to Naidu’s rented house in Road No.24, Banjara Hills. Naidu’s family recently shifted to their farm house in the city till the house construction is done.
On the other side, water supply to AP CM Camp Office, the Lake View Guest House is in tact. 2.31 Lakh Liters of water is being supplied to the Camp office every month. GHMC officials confirm that this is not at related to political reasons. Earlier GHMC also refused permission to Naidu’s new house construction.
