Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has taken a sensational decision after ruling party MLAs have abused his wife, Bhuvaneshwari’s character. Naidu has decided to boycott the Assembly for the rest of the tenure and vowed to return only after getting elected as the Chief Minister. As the proceedings began today, the ruling party has targeted Chandrababu big time.
While Naidu was speaking the house, the ruling party MLAs led by Minister Kodali Nani were giving running commentary hurling abuses and taunts. Chandrababu alleges that they even went to the extent of abusing his wife and family. After taking it for some time, Chandrababu has made the announcement.
The Speaker repeatedly tried to interrupt the Opposition leader while speaking. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is seen enjoying his men’s abuses. He is seen smiling many times when the senior politician is being humiliated and abused. “I have lived my entire life for the honor of my family. Never seen this kind of environment in the house,” Chandrababu said emotionally.
It is really bad that Andhra Pradesh politics is hitting new lows every day. Abusing women and family members in the August house is a record low. Naidu would have to do a Jayalalithaa to win in this challenge. Many years back, Jayalalithaa has made a similar challenge in the Tamil Nadu Assembly after being humiliated by the then Ruling Party. She has returned to the house as the Chief Minister.
