A 22 year old, Wasim Khan of Malad was arrested on Saturday after he created a fake profile of girl. Saying that she was a call girl and also sent out friends request to her relatives from the bogus account to harass her.
The account was created in July this year. He via the bogus profile, indulged in obscene chat with unknown people and posted obscene photographs of other woman making others believe that it was of the victim.
Further worse is that the mobile number given on the profile is that of Victim’s mother’ mobile number. The mother started receiving calls from unknown person and then they approached cyber crime police station (CCPS) of the crime branch, Mumbai.
