Vizag Lok Sabha Seat: YSRCP Losing Ground Balakrishna’s son-in-law, Sri Bharat contested as Vishakapatnam MP in the last elections. He lost by a slender margin as TDP votes got split by JD Lakshminarayana who contested on Janasena ticket.

YSR Congress candidate, MVV Satyanarayana is the beneficiary. There has been a dissatisfaction in the voters that his performance is not up to the mark for a major city like Vishakapatnam.

For the last couple of months, the MP is in news for two land-grabbing issues. Both the issues seemed authentic and public actually believed them.

A section of YSR Congress in the constituency has also targeted him. The vexed MP announced that he will shift his business entirely to Hyderabad and he will no longer operate in Vishakapatnam.

This frustrated announcement did further damage to the MP’s image. This has weakened the Ruling party in Vishakapatnam Lok Sabha segment.

The Ruling Party will once again hope for the votes split in the Opposition to steer it to safety. The party may also have to change its candidate for this seat.
