YSR Congress claims to win Kuppam defeating Chandrababu Naidu in 2024 because they registered massive victories in all the local elections.
But then, YSRCP seems to have got those victories using power and money. This is not a political allegation but is an admission by the party leaders themselves.
Rangaiah, husband of Devaki, Kuppam Municipality 16th ward attended the meeting of Kuppam Municipality all members meeting. Rangaiah should not be allowed but the commissioner attended.
Rangaiah questioned the Commissioner for not giving them any work. The commissioner mentioned that he has given a bill worth 800 Rupees. Rangaiah mentioned that they spent 5000 Rupees per vote.
On the other hand, Municipal Vice-Chairman Muniswamy boycotted the meeting saying that development works did not start even after calling tenders.
Muniswamy also mentioned how bills are not cleared and they have to pay hefty interest on the loans they have taken for those works. He threatened to go to court for getting those bills cleared.
