Andhra Pradesh Government has celebrated Independence Day at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the national flag. After receiving the salute from the Armed Forces, the Chief Minister has spoken at least about his government’s achievements.
Meanwhile, a video of the event is going viral on social media. The Chief Minister is seen taking off the mask as he arrives at the podium to speak. He immediately wipes his face with the removed mask. The front portion of the mask is contaminated due to its exposure to the outside environment.
So, WHO and the medical experts say it is highly dangerous to touch the front portion of the mask. A mask should be removed only by its strap and should be discarded. Hands should be sanitized immediately to prevent accidental touching of the face. But Jagan has wiped his face with the mask.
While fans are concerned about this act of the Chief Minister, the others are criticizing him for doing so. The video is going viral on social media and Whatsapp.
