It’s hard to expect proper decorum in politics these days especially when foul mouthing is showcased as heroism and maintaining restraint as helplessness. But then, it will be more than sufficient if politicians do maintain restrain at least on Birthdays.
But even that has become difficult. Today is the Birthday of Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Vijayasai Reddy, the Rajya Sabha MP and Number 2 in YSR Congress has come up with a tweet in real bad taste. The party supporters have been trying to trend a defaming hashtag.
The party’s social media teams were pushing it. That is acceptable to some extent because it will remain faceless. But the MP’s tweet ensured that there is no need for niceties. The tweet has been receiving flak from the neutral people and from a small portion of YSR Congress supporters as well.
If we expect the MP to take a step back at least after the backlash, we are mistaken. Two hours after that he came up with another similar tweet in English this time. AP Politics at times give us a feeling that things can not be bad and we are proven wrong every single time.
