YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP, Vijayasai Reddy made a couple of tweets wishing former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in quite a bad taste. Those tweets have drawn a lot of flak and now the party’s Rebel MP, Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju also came hard on those tweets.
“When Ravana was nearing his death, Rama asked his brother Lakshmana to go to him and learn something which no other person except an erudite Brahmin like Ravana could ever teach him. Our culture asks us to respect even an enemy. You should let go of this trivial mindset,” he said.
“It is not easy to find cultured leaders in YSR Congress. But it may not be difficult to find someone slightly better cultured. Such a person should be made the party’s National General Secretary. Maybe someone like Uma Reddy Venkateswarulu,” he added.
“This type of attitude will distance us from the neutral voters. We got most of the 15% neutral vote in 2019. If Chief Minister is not behind these tweets, he should correct Sai Reddy garu immediately,” Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju said.
