The YSR Samsarana Sabha (YSR memorial meeting) at HICC arranged by YS Vijayamma turned out to be a political affair. While sending invitations, Vijayamma said it is an apolitical meeting and is just a get-together event for the late Chief Minister’s former colleagues and well-wishers.
The active politicians have mostly skipped the meeting but the political spent forces like K V P Ramachandra Rao, Undavalli, Raghuveera Reddy, and others were in majority. Only a couple of leaders who are in the Telangana BJP were active politicians.
Sharmila is seen alongside her mother all through the event. Both Vijayamma and Sharmila made political comments at KCR’s Government. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has skipped the event, sources say. But there are some political murmurs that Vijayamma did not even invite Jagan in the first place.
There is no mention of Jagan or YSR Congress at the event. At YSR Ghat yesterday morning, the family members came together but looked like, not on talking terms.
