Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita is in trouble. In a video Interview, the Minister revealed about how she converted into Christianity. Sucharitha, however, contested from an SC constituency which is illegal.
Legal Rights Protection Forum complained to the President of India asking her to be disqualified. The President has forwarded the complaint to Andhra Pradesh Government. It has happened last year but the Government did not care for it
But after multiple reminders by Legal Rights Protection Forum, District Collector, Guntur, has initiated inquiry into the matter of SC Status Misuse of Mekathoti Sucharita. If the report comes that Sucharita is a Christian, she may be disqualified.
Mekathoti Sucharita won from Prathipadu constituency of Guntur district with a margin of 4,666 votes over Former Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao.
