Velagapudi Assembly Nears CompletionVelagapudi Assembly Nears CompletionThe Construction work of Andhra Pradesh Assembly Temporary Building is likely to be complete by 25th or 26th of this month. The construction of the Assembly and Council buildings, Offices of the parties are also almost complete. The contractor has promised to hand over the buildings by 26th.

Once the buildings were handed over, they will be given to Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao this month or the first week of February. Andhra Pradesh government is planning both the Winter and Budget session in February itself.

In case there is any delay in the schedule, they will be skipping the Winter session and will directly go for the Budget session. This will be the first Assembly session in Andhra Pradesh post the state bifurcation. The Assembly and Legislative Council building are coming up on the premises of temporary secretariat at Velagapudi in the capital region of Amaravati.
