Telugu Desam Party Gannavaram MLA, Vallabhaneni Vamsi has come under the media radar after he is seen alongside BJP Rajya Sabha MP, Sujana Chowdary for the last two days. This has led to speculations that Vamsi is leaving TDP and will be joining BJP very soon.
Interestingly, Vamsi did not participate in TDP’s call for protests against the Government over Sand Shortage. YSR Congress Government recently filed a forgery case against Vamsi and there are rumors that Vamsi is going to BJP as a resort from these cases.
If at all this happens, Vamsi will be the first TDP MLA to crossover. It has to be seen what Speaker does in such a case. If at all, the Speaker disqualifies Vamsi, it has to be seen if BJP has it to field him in the by-election and ensure that he wins there.
Vamsi had won from Gannavaram two times in a row now and is known to be a very candidate locally. It will be a loss for the party in the constituency if he leaves.
