Vallabhaneni Vamsi's Another U-Turn, By-Election ImminentTDP MLA from Gannavaram, Vallabhaneni Vamsi seems to have finished the drama of leaving Politics. Vamsi reportedly confirmed to a Media House that he will be joining YSR Congress on November 3rd or 4th. This is despite the fact that Vamsi had written an open letter that YSR Congress leaders and some officials are tormenting his supporters in the constituency.

If Vamsi says he is joining the same party which troubled his supporters, there should be something seriously wrong with him than anything else. Vamsi a few days ago met AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and after the meeting, he claimed vendetta politics by the ruling party. This reinforces the instability of Vamsi which he is always known for.

Our readers may remember him meet Jagan before 2014 elections and later staying back in TDP. Anyways, Vamsi’s joining YSR Congress will mean that there will be a by-election situation in less than six months of the new government. TDP is likely to have trouble in fielding a candidate against Vamsi if he gets the ticket.

ZP Chairperson, Gadde Anuradha is likely to be the frontrunner for TDP Ticket. There are reports that Devineni Avinash or Former Minister Devineni Uma is also the contender. Usually, By-elections are always in favor of the Ruling Parties and when a strong leader like Vamsi loses, the Opposition Party faces a vacuum-like situation until an alternate leadership is groomed.
