Unofficial_Power_Cut_in_APThe Power demand has increased drastically once again in Andhra Pradesh. On Wednesday, the demand peaked at 198.21 Million Units.

Unable to supply to that extent, unofficial power cuts have been imposed.

On Wednesday night, there was no power all night for villages and even for municipalities, there were 1-2 hours of power cuts in the name of technical snags.

The temperatures are soaring in Andhra Pradesh and they are to continue. That means power demand will only increase in days to come.

We may be bracing for another round of power cuts.

The challenge for the government is to ensure there are no more power holidays for the industries.

The industries in Andhra Pradesh have already suffered close to two months due to the power holidays.
