Union cabinet Ministers were reportedly offended with the behaviour of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao and his government. It is told that KCR intentionally insulted two ministers of the NDA government. Nithin Gadkari, the Union Rural Development Minister suggested Telangana government to make water conservation part of MNREGA to mitigate drought in the state. KCR not only rejected the proposal but also told Gadkari to learn from the drought mitigation practices of Telangana Government.
The other day, Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal also revealed that despite repeated attempts by his ministry to reach out the power crisis prone Telangana, the state has refused to respond. Further the KCR’s government insulted the minister by sending an official way below hierarchy to meet the minister and discuss the power situation in Telangana. It is already known that KCR called Narendra Modi – a fascist, a comment which will not be cherished by any leader elected in a democracy.
It is told that the repercussions of these offending will start after the Medak bi-election. Center is keen to take a call over the special powers to Governor on the common capital after the election. This offending attitude of KCR and his government will definitely do no good to the newly formed state given the central government is too strong after having a government with its own majority.
