Unconstitutional & Severe Financial Irregularities In AP: CAGComptroller Auditor General (CAG) has flayed YS Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s Government for financial irregularities. In 2020-21, the government has spent 1.10 Lakh Crore without the approval of the assembly.

This amount is not shown in the budget and the assembly is not informed of this spending.

CAG termed this constitutional violation. The Government has gone overdraft for 103 days last year which indicates the financial mess the government has created.

The government had minimum funds (1.94 Crore) without any assistance only for 34 days in the year.

Also, the government has made payments worth 48,284.31 Crore for various bills via CMFS violating the Treasury code and Treasury processes.

CAG also mentioned that the government has borrowed 38,312.7 Crore through Government-owned companies. And another 86,259.82 Crore outside of the budget by the month-end of March 2021.

The details of these loans were not mentioned in the budget intentionally so as to get more loans.
