MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju has alleged Police brutality in CID Custody and also showed injuries to the court. He has also approached the High Court and the Supreme Court. The High Court constituted a medical board to ascertain the claims.
Meanwhile, the Government refutes the claims and says the MP is lying to get the bail. They also argue that if the injuries are real then why the MP’s family members were not informed when they brought him lunch on Saturday. If they were informed, why they did not talk to the media and make a ruckus about it?
The Government says this is a new drama by RRR after his bail petition has been rejected. While these are the questions by the Government, there are some other unanswered questions being raised by Raghu Rama Raju’s supporters on social media.
1. If they are old injuries, they must have been identified during RRR’s arrest. Those injuries should be recorded and he should have been taken to a hospital first.
2. If RRR has inflicted the injuries himself, is it possible for someone to injure himself so badly? If he did, how did he get something to do that? If we consider he managed it somehow, how did it go unnoticed in a place which is supposed to have security 24X7?
3. RRR has been approaching all courts – Sessions Court, High Court, Supreme Court. That itself indicates the legal team he has at his disposal. In case RRR is lying, his lawyers would have already informed him of the consequences of misleading the court with false allegations.
