The White House has announced that fully vaccinated individuals will be permitted to enter the country starting from the 8th of November. Here are a few points that one needs to keep in mind if he/she is travelling to the US soon.
1. Those who have taken the vaccine approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be permitted to travel to the US. And also those who have been administered the vaccines that are approved for emergency usage by the World Health Organization (WHO) will be permitted.
2. Non-American individuals will have to present a proof that they are fully vaccinated. A Covid negative test result dated 3 days or under should also provided.
3. International travelers who are fully vaccinated against Covid need not quarantine upon arrival in the country.
4. As for the non-vaccinated US citizens returning the country, a Covid negative result taken not longer than 24 hours ago should be provided.
5. India’s Indigenous vaccine, Covaxin has not been authorised yet by the USFDA or the WHO and those who’ve taken the vaccine may well be treated as non-vaccinated.
