Two MLAs belonging to YSR Congress were served notices by Nellore Police in connection to Cricket Betting Scam. Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy (Nellore Rural) and Anil Kumar Yadav (Nellore Town) have got the notices from the Police.
Betting is rampant in Nellore and is running into 100s of Crores. Nellore Police recently arrested Betting Don, Krishna Singh and the racket roots reached to the MLAs in the investigation. The MLAs were asked to appear between SP Ramakrishna for questioning on 22nd of this month.
Buzz is that there are some more YSR Congress involved and may get notices very soon. On the other side, as expected, the MLAs started foul-crying the Political Vendetta behind these notices. But then, locals in Nellore say their involvement is an open secret.
