Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to makeover his image as elections are nearing. From 175/175, Jagan these days is requesting people not to trust anyone else but him.
The Chief Minister is also suddenly talking about being investors-friendly and is also trying to say he is borrowing so little when compared to previous governments.
But then, these are two things that people will never believe whatever Jagan says.
Everyone has seen how big industries like Kia Motors and Adani were treated in the early days of Jagan coming to power. Everyone is aware how one of the earliest industries – Galla is tormented just because Jayadev is an MP of TDP.
There are numerous such examples. Over the top of them, Jagan repeatedly played down the importance of bringing new investments to the state indicating as if he does not even know that.
And coming to loans, Jagan is trying to get clean chit by keeping the central government in dark about outside-the-budget loans. But then, people are clearly seeing how the government is totally dependent on the money pooled from RBI securities auction even to pay salaries.
Jagan better stick to saying I have put money in your bank, so vote me instead of trying to convince them about investments and financial discipline.
