Two students, 22, and 23, were shot and critically wounded during an armed robbery on Sunday night in Princeton Park on the South Side.

A dark-colored vehicle approached and two people came out, demanding the pair’s possessions at gunpoint, Chicago police said. In the process, the two Telugu students were shot.

The younger man was struck in the chest and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was in critical condition, police said.

The older man was struck in the armpit and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was also in critical condition.

The two men are currently being treated and an update on their medical condition will be out soon. The police are on the lookout for the suspects.
