Eight AR Police Personnel went to Hyderabad from Vizianagaram for the security of Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. They have come back recently and two of them are now tested positive for Coronavirus. They were sent to a local COVID hospital for treatment.
This news has caused anxiety in the TDP cadre. “Chandrababu is in Hyderabad till yesterday. Except for Balakrishna’s Birthday, Chandrababu mostly stayed indoors. These Policemen are in the outer cover of Chandrababu’s security and they are unlikely to come into contact with him,” a source in TDP said.
The infected Policemen were sent to a local COVID hospital for treatment. The officials will get an idea about the danger level for Chandrababu once all the contacts are traced. The Government may ask for a Coronavirus test for Chandrababu Naidu and family.
GHMC area of Telangana is the hotbed of Coronavirus cases. The capital region has contributed 75% of the total cases in the state. There were rumors that community spread is rampant in Telangana. So, it may be safer for Chandrababu Naidu as well as the Government to conduct tests.
