Reports are emerging that Ram Madhav and Muralidhara Rao may be inducted into Union Cabinet during the next reshuffle. Both of them are from the Telugu States and this move is aimed at strengthening the party in both the states before the 2019 elections.
Ram Madhav hails from Amalapuram, East Godavari and is currently the National General Secretary of BJP, He is instrumental in forming the governments in Assam and Jammu & Kashmir. Muralidhar Rao hails from Korapalli village in Karimnagar district.
He is a National General-Secretary of BJP. Both of them are known for their affiliation with RSS. In case, they are inducted into the cabinet, they have to be elected from Rajya Sabha. It has to be seen if they will fill the void created by Venkaiah Naidu’s elevation as Vice-President.
