Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan 2 mission lost its communication with the Ground Control just 2.1 Kilometers away from the Lunar Surface. ISRO has announced that they are analyzing the data to see what went wrong. After it happened, there are two different incidents happened. One is heart-warming and the other is insulting.
As soon as the mission erred, ISRO Chairman Sivan is continuously briefing the Prime Minister about what is happening. At one stage, he broke down and the Prime Minister gave a warm hug consoling him. He is seen patting the back of the Chairman and assuring him that the nation is still proud of his team.
Everyone is happy that the Prime Minister stepped up to cheer the team in such difficult times. The second incident is that a journalist belonging to NDTV talked to ISRO Spokesperson in highly abusive and derogatory tone questioning him why the ISRO Chairman is staying away from the media sending a Junior while it is a custom for the Chairman to brief.
The spokesperson who is not used to such aggression is seen bewildered. We have a media which could not even respect our National Heroes in the difficult times. Two Different Stories which should evoke a different kind of emotions.
