Telangana government had finally approved a design for the proposed Hyderabad Police Commissionerate which will be coming up in Banjara Hills. The design consists of twin towers and will house boththe Hyderabad commissionerate and Command Control Centre (CCC), one of the towers would be of 24 floors, while the other would be of 16 floors.
They will be connected with a bridge to allow passage to the other tower. Both the buildings have helipads on their terrace and also a huge parking place for 600 vehicles and a big auditorium to house meetings for 1000 people.
KCR’s government is planning to install one lakh CCTV cameras in Hyderabad and all of them will be connected to the CCC. At a later stage, CCCs of the remaining nine districts would be linked to the Command and Control Center. The government is planning to float the tenders very soon.
