A local leader of Kalyanadurgam filed a police complaint against Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and former minister Lokesh for their comments on the issue of police blocking a sick child to facilitate the rally of Minister Usha Sricharan.
The child was taken late to the hospital and died due to the delay, parents claimed.
While the child’s father says so, police say they did not stop the kid from going to hospital.
It has become a huge issue with Opposition parties flaying the government. Police filed an FIR under section 153a r/w 34 IPC.
The section pertains to any act which is prejudicial to the maintenance of harmony between different religious, racial, language or regional groups or castes or communities
Interestingly this is the 12th such case on Lokesh after Jagan came to power. All of them are similar cases.
“The Chief Minister is so timid. Fears questions by the Opposition. I got 12 cases including murder attempts just for standing by the people,” Lokesh said.
“I have cases for fighting for the people. Not for economical offenses like you. What next? Will you open a rowdy sheet on me for standing by the people? I am ready,” the former minister added.
