TSRTC Bus Stolen in HyderabadA bus belonging to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) went missing from Hyderabad’s Central Bus Station (CBS). The bus, a Metro Express, reportedly belonged to the Kushaiguda depot, plying the 3K route between Gowliguda and ECIL. It was parked at the Bus Station on Tuesday Night and on Wednesday, it is found to be missing.

The issue was then brought to the notice of his superiors who filed a complaint at the Afzalgunj police station. The Stolen RTC bus seen on CCTV footage at Toopran and the Police is investigating the case. National Highways Authority of India is also alerted to ensure that it is not smuggled out of the state.

The bus had clocked over 8 lakh km and could be started with a starter switch, and not by key ignition. All the Petrol Bunks were also alerted as the bus would definitely stop to refueling. A similar incident happened in 2010 in United AP. A Bus was stolen from MGBS Bus Stop and later abandoned it at a petrol bunk at Narsapur in Medak district.
