Kapu Reservations issue is the only issue which is troubling TDP government since they came to power. The violence that erupted after Kapu Gharjana meeting in Tuni last year and the torching of Ratnachal Express came as worse and then the government got alerted a bit and contained the situation.
But then the issue is always threatening to the state government. While things looked in control for the last few months, some miscreants have destroyed Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga statue in Singh Nagar, Vijayawada. Immediately after that YSR Congress Leader, Vangaveeti Ranga along with Ranga, Radha Mitra Mandali staged a protest.
Radha started allegations on the government saying that even the statues have no protection under TDP rule. He threatened of dire consequences if those behind this are not arrested. TDP leaders on the other side are suspecting some conspiracy angle in this and are alleging that YSR Congress is intentionally trying to ignite trouble.
