TDP seems to be responding aggressively to the Rayalaseema Declaration of BJP. TDP took a cue of BJP’s tactics to divert the issue from the Central Funds to Discrimination towards Rayalaseema and Chandrababu is in no mood to tolerate such divisive politics.
For the demand of BJP on High Court in Kurnool, TDP has started demanding BJP to prove its commitment by establishing a Supreme Court Bench in Kurnool and make Amaravati as the Second Capital of India. This has put BJP in the backfoot.
They are also asking if there are Second Capitals and High Court in the backward regions of BJP ruled States. For an instance, BJP has ruled Madhya Pradesh for about 15 years and Bundelkhand is still the most backward region in the country. They are asking if Bundelkhand is the Second Capital of Madhya Pradesh and has a High Court.
