YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went all the way to Ramoji Film City on the outskirts of Hyderabad sometime in the last year. The minutes of the meeting did not come out but then it is anybody’s guess why the opposition leader went to the owner of the most influential media house in both the Telugu States. From then, Jagan’s Sakshi and YSR Congress softened their stand a bit on Ramoji Rao.
Intentional or not but the regular readers of Eenadu felt that Ramoji Rao did not air any negative news on Jagan and his party since then and at the same time, did not even give extensive coverage to YSR Congress Party activities. Looks like Ambitious Jagan Mohan Reddy is not happy with the media baron’s approach and is back to his old stance on Ramoji Rao.
While everyone is pointing towards Jagan about who can be the person who declared 10000 Crore Black Money in the Income Declaration Scheme, Sakshi is carrying out a campaign indirectly hinting that the person is none other than Ramoji Rao. That indicates that the truce between Ramoji Rao and Jagan Mohan Reddy got foiled and things will be back to old style very soon.
On the other side, the allegations on Ramoji Rao do not appear to be true. Not that Ramoji Rao is a saint in business, some feel that with his extensive contacts with the Central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Media Baron need not declare such big amount. Remember he is the same guy who braved several Congress governments whom he opposed all his life.
