Despite having numbers only to win four candidates, Telangana Rashtra Samiti put up five candidates ensuring elections. The ruling party is trying to win the elections by hook or crook and sources tell us that they have almost succeeded in this mission.
TRS has 63 MLAs who won on car symbol. The party already had the support of 4 TDP MLAs, 4 Congress MLAs and two YSR Congress MLAs and one nominated MLA supporting it. With this the party had 76 MLAs. Very recent joining from TDP, Madhavaram Krishna Rao makes it 77.
At the same time MIM offered its support to TRS in this elections. The party had seven MLAs which means the ruling party will be supported by 84 MLAs. YSR Congress which has one MLA left also pledged its support taking the tally to 85. In case more numbers are needed, TRS is making sure that few Congress and TDP MLAs are bought out in the last minute.
