VelKam has become a Buzz Word in Telangana Politics in the recent days with the rumours of TRS (Velamas) and TDP (Kammas) coming together. Both KCR and Chandrababu are totally tight-lipped about this alliance until now but the rumours are rife.
Basing on these rumours, Revanth Reddy is hurt and is trying to go to Congress. On the other side, rumours are that TRS has offered 20 Assembly Seats and Two Parliament Seats for TDP (TS) in the next elections.
Two Cabinet Berths and Two Rajya Sabha seats are also in the offer for TDP from the ruling party in Telangana. VelKam Alliance will begin early next year. As a part of the deal, TRS should nominate Motkupalli Narasimhulu to Rajya Sabha in March 2018.
The second Rajyasabha term will go to Garikapati Mohan Rao in 2020. Garikipati Mohan Rao is a relative of Tummala Nageshwar Rao who shifted from TDP to TRS. If Motkupalli is nominated in March, then we will see a new twists and turns in Telugu Politics in the run-up to 2019 Elections.
