TRS Politics in Andhra Pradesh Can Not Be An Easy RideTRS had registered a sensational victory in Telangana elections. Telangana Rashtra Samithi Supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao had announced the foray into National politics. He also said that he would enter Andhra politics as well as a return gift to his friend Andhra Pradesh counterpart Chandrababu Naidu. There are speculations already from the media that it TRS will contest 2019 elections in Andhra Pradesh.

However a close look will say you that it is not as easy as said. When Chandrababu Naidu was campaigning in Telangana, KCR foulcried that Naidu has no business whatsoever in Telangana. He demanded that Naidu should take back all the letters he wrote against various projects of Telangana. If at all KCR and TRS enter Andhra Pradesh politics, the same questions will come back to haunt.

TRS and the TRS led Telangana Government has been opposing various projects of Andhra Pradesh including the Polavaram project. The party on record opposed the special status for Andhra Pradesh which is the Prime demand of the state and a key election issue in 2019. Obviously KCR cannot afford to change the stand over these issues for obvious reasons. Without committing on these issues, the remaining promises or schemes KCR promises in Andhra Pradesh will not be fruitful.

When KCR is saying that TRS will enter Andhra Pradesh politics. he may enter the neighbouring state politics by supporting the opposition parties from behind the screens. It will be an advantage to TDP if at all TRS directly enters Andhra Pradesh politics as how it happened to TRS in Telangana. TRS should not go by the support of some overenthusiastic supporters of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh.
