TRS Leaders Warn KCR Against Moving Close with Narendra ModiOne meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi prompted Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao became a strong advocate for the Demonetization and moving towards Cashless society. But them the Chief Minister has received a word of caution from his own Cabinet colleagues and TRS party leaders about his enthusiasm towards a cashless economy.

They warned him not to be so vocal on this issue as the implementation of Demonetization is very bad and can backfire due to that. They also warned the CM that it would be difficult to fight the elections in 2019 because it would not be possible to raise funds in a cashless economy.

They brought to his notice that they managed to raise Rs 10 crore to Rs 20 crore each during the 2014 elections from traders, realtors etc for poll expenses and distribute the money to the poor to woo their votes. With cashless society, that will be impossible they brought to the CM’s notice.
