For the first time since its inception, Telangana Rashtra Samiti is going to polls with a manifesto. So far achieving Telangana is their only priority but now Telangana state is a reality, the party has to speak about the role it is going to play in the development of the newly formed state. KCR had appointed a Manifesto committee under Kadiyam Srihari to oversee the manifesto preparation.
The committee members B.Vinod Kumar, Ramana Chari, Niranjan Reddy and others will be meeting today and finalize the party’s manifesto. On the other side, there is a stupendous response for KCR’s call for donations for the party. TRS Bhavan sources say more than 50 Lakhs fund is collected in the first day after KCR giving the call. Out of this 25,50,000 are through bank deposits and 25,00,000 are through cheques sent to TRS office.
