TRS' Complete U-Turn on AP Special StatusThe No Confidence Motion on the Union Council of Ministers put up Telugu Desam Party will be taken up for discussion tomorrow. TRS which has previously extended complete support to Andhra Pradesh’s Demands did not vote in support of the motion.

The party has changed its stance on Andhra Pradesh’s Demands. “We will voice the promises to Telangana and will demand their fulfillment. TRS will oppose any new incentives to Andhra Pradesh outside the AP Reorganization,” a TRS MP said.

That will also mean TRS will oppose the Special Status demand of Andhra Pradesh as it is not included in Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. We are told that TRS may vote in favour of BJP or walkout even before the voting saying Telangana issues are not addressed.

People like Pawan Kalyan who have praised TRS a lot for heaping praises on TRS for lending support to AP’s demands will struggle to digest it now. TRS will also come under scanner for acting in favour of the BJP led Central Government.
