Seasoned political observers know that Chandrababu Naidu is Chanakya of modern day politics. Now TDP Chief’s new political move proves the same. Naidu is rendering YSRCP in AP and TRS party in Telangana struggle for life.
At a time when Congress was struggling to counter the force called KCR in Telangana Babu scripted an unbelievable strategy to not only take the Mahakutami close to victory but also push TRS to new low as well as make YSRCP in AP search for new ideas to run for some cover. Babu who offered support to the Congress to unite all the anti-Modi forces in Delhi saw to it that close to 15 parties come under the common umbrella within a span of three days. After meeting Rajasthan former CM Ashok Gehlot at Amaravati, CBN called for a press meet and hit back hard at the Centre and Modi’s autocratic ways. Further he appealed to parties such as MIM to decide on its side and slammed TRS saying KCR is following BJP agenda. Further Babu reiterated parties not joining their kootami will be regarded as pro BJP.
This is unexpected and worrisome both for TRS as well as YSRCP. The two parties are can neither join the kootami (for reasons only KCR and Jagan know) nor allow people to assume they are pro-Modi. This would jeopardize their chances in the assembly elections. That being said the message reached betrayed AP people as well as Telangana people who will probably take a call on how to teach YSRCP and TRS a lesson in the elections for respective state assemblies.
