BARC released the Television Ratings for Week 12. In 15+ All category of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, there are no surprises in the Top Two Positions. NTV is in the first place while TV9 is in the second position.
TV5 and V6 are in the next two positions. ABN – Andhrajyothy is in the fifth position while Sakshi is in Seventh position behind T-News.
ABN registered 24 TVR Ratings while Sakshi managed only 13. It is almost like ABN is double of Sakshi and mind you, ABN is banned in several parts of Andhra Pradesh and so the actual ratings should be much higher.
With elections one year to go, the mood of General Public is often gauged by the News they consume. Sakshi is the mouthpiece of YSR Congress for obvious reasons. ABN – Andhrajyothy positioned itself as voice for Government failures in Andhra Pradesh.
If people are watching ABN more than Sakshi, it should be major cause of worry for Jagan Mohan Reddy. Moreover, the difference in the ratings is almost double.
