The model Police station of Guntur has been inaugurated by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. These smart police stations are not just smart in the infrastructure but also the men working in the station. First, they changed the traditional look of a police station and now they changed the outfit of police too.
Earlier if one enters a PS they could just witness scary people with the coffee color outfit and a scary atmosphere. But now you won’t believe it is a police station after entering the building. The premises resemble a corporate office and not just that, the police men in the station wouldn’t be seen in the regular coffee color uniforms. The cops would be wearing the tucked uniform of blue shades with an ID card around the neck.
They look like an IT professional and they would be changing the outfit to coffee color uniform when they step out of the building on duty. There would be a warm welcome at the entrance by the receptionist who checks the type of request and sends the person to the appropriate counter out of the seven counters in the station. These changes make the people feel comfortable to approach the police. Great! isn’t it.
