Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakara Reddy is very close to the Late YSR and has traveled with Jagan right from the day after he differed with Congress’s high command.
Bhumana was missing in both the cabinet expansions of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Buzz is that the party high command is not happy about Bhumana’s son in particular.
Bhumana’s son, Abhinay Reddy has become a defacto MLA ever since YSR Congress came to power.
He recently won as a corporator and later became deputy Mayor of Tirupati.
And from then, he is behaving as if no one can stop him. Rumors in the constituency are that he is also into many controversial issues that are bringing a bad name to the government.
He is also known for not taking the party’s local leaders into confidence and that is leading to group culture in the party.
Bhumana has turned blind to all this out of love for his son. He is keen on making Abhinay his political heir and next MLA of Tirupati.
Party sources say that this has come to Jagan’s notice and so had kept Bhumana at a distance.
