Tirupati Should Be Made The Capital - Chinta MohanAndhra Pradesh is going to become a state with three capitals from the earlier position of the State with no capitals. The new government had brought in the three capitals proposal (Vishakapatnam, Amaravati, and Kurnool) in the name of Decentralization of the Administration.

Some are criticizing this strategy of three capitals saying that it is a Thuglaq act. They are mentioning the fact that no state in the country after independence has three capitals. As if three capitals are not enough, Congress Senior MP and Former MP, Chinta Mohan brought up a new demand.

“Tirupati should be made the Capital of Andhra Pradesh. Tirupati was decided as the Capital in 1953 itself but that did not happen due to some reason. Tirupati should be made the capital or else Jagan will become Rayalaseema Drohi. It is unlikely that high court will come to Kurnool,” Chinta Mohan said.

Meanwhile, the farmers in Amaravati who gave their lands for the capital came on roads demanding that the government should withdraw the proposal and continue Amaravati as the Capital.
